Subject: Revised procedure for Submitting & Applying Liberian License/CRA
Dear All,
Good day,
Please be informed that to reduce the turn around time for Liberian license application, all Liberian License/CRA are to be applied online through the Liberian Seafarer’s Electronic Application (SEA) online system. All the companies are being encouraged to apply Liberian flag applications via SEA system.
Below instruction for submitting the Liberian License/CRA applications:
Hence, whilst submitting Liberian License/CRA applications, we require all of you, with immediate effect, to fill in the attached Liberian Flag License Application Template in excel, and email the following required documents individually as separate files in format, size and naming of the file mentioned in the templete.
Please also include a signed copy of the Acknowledgement Form for below applicants:
-For Master and Chief Mate, Chief Engineer and First Assistant Engineer applicants
-For applicants applying Liberian license for GMDSS license.
As Liberian authority has a strict requirement for the photo, please adhere to the requirements as per attached file "SEA PHOTO QUALITY".
All application must be sent to us 5 working days in advance to ensure enough time to connect the original CRA and must be complete with all the required documents copy with exception for urgent cases whereby please highlight to us in the email whilst sending the applications.
As per Liberian Authority, a signed and stamped original Liberian provisional document (CRA) and the National certificate must be kept available in accordance with Regulation I/2, paragraph 9 of the convention while serving on a ship.
